When first visiting a website that offers FREE software, you will be pointed to the download section.Before downloading programs make a quick note of Name,Address and any other details you may require.You can bookmark the site ( make a folder for downloads) or use a small notebook for the job. When you find the download link,Right click, and look for Save target as. You can opt to go with the default name or change to something more memorable.You will also be asked where you want to download to. Save the first program on to your desktop.Next you will have to wait for the download to connect and travel the distance to your own computer.Depending on the size of the download,your connection speed and the amount of traffic on the internet , this could be anything from minutes to an hour. Lets consider this cost for a moment.If your download did take an hour, and you pay for your connection via the minute,it should cost roughly a pound.That's about the price of an icecream.I consider that good value. Before and after downloading,read the instuctions.Most programmers will include a text file READ ME. After you have your chosen download on your computer,DISCONECT from the internet before installing.You will normally be told to close all other programs on your computer. If you have chosen an EXE file, this will come with a self install setup.Follow instructions Try this small download After use,you may delete this file safely.Right click,delete.
